The main node gives a general introduction to and overview of the theory of Imprecise Probabilities. It has a number of child nodes, called chapter nodes, each of which is intended to cover a different part or aspect of, or an alternative approach to, the theory. All chapter nodes have an introduction, explaining the main ideas and the connections with the other approaches to the theory. More detailed explanations may eventually be given in their child nodes, called section nodes. All contributions are written by experts in the field.
Wherever possible, an effort is made to keep the mathematics to a reasonable minimum. All mathematics are typeset in LaTeX, and where possible converted into HTML by the LaTeX2HTML translator. For nodes containing a lot of mathematical symbols, alternative Postscript and PDF versions are available for downloading.
